Sometimes knowing what colour service to ask for to achieve your desired colour, can seem a bit of a mind.  I will always carry out a full consultation and in depths discussion with you prior to carry out any colour service, however here is an overview to guide you in the right direction or give you some ideas.

Full Head of Tint:

This is a permanent colour that is applied with a tint brush directly to the root area and then taken through to the lengths and ends of your hair, ensuring complete coverage.  This is also known as a global colour. This will give you complete coverage of white hair and the recommended maintenance is usually around 6-8 weeks.

regrowth Tint

This is when a permanent colour is applied to the root area only and can only be carried out when you are having the same colour from your previous appointment so that it matches up with the lengths and ends. This will also require no fade of tone and depth on your previous colour.  m maintenance is usually around 6-8 weeks. The maintenance is usually around 6-8 weeks.

Balayage

This technique is similar to highlights but usually done without using foils. It is a “hand painted” technique, whereby the hair is sectioned and the highlighted strands are individually painted and placed within the hair to add a softened more infused highlighted look. As this is a more natural blended technique, the maintenance is usually between 6-10 weeks

Highlights

This is a classic technique whereby the hair is section and then weaved or sliced to add a multidimensional effect on the hair. The result can vary greatly depending on the size and placement of the slice or weave. It can be bold and contrasting or super fine and natural. The maintenance can be anything from 6 – 8 weeks.

BLOW-DRY

A toner is used to either neutralise or add tone.  It is great for personalising your colour especially blondes, to help you create creamy, ashy or pastel tones.  Toners are also used to refresh existing colours such as brunette’s, coppers or reds bringing the vibrancy back.  Toners are temporary and will fade depending on the porosity of your hair.  To help prolong the longevity of your colour, you can book a toner and blow-dry in between visits, which may help you stretch out booking your next appointment.

OMBRE

This technique involved shading or blending one colour into another, it is usually darker at the roots and then gradually getting lighter through the midlengths and ends.   This technique works best when working with tones close to your natural hair colour so that you can create a gradual blend that complements your existing colour.  The maintenance for this colour is between 6 – 10 weeks.
